Mr. Smith
I grew up in Marin County for elementary, middle and High School and then attended UC Davis for a BA in Sociology- Organizational studies. I received my teaching credential in Elk Grove District's Teacher Education Institute. I have been teaching 6th grade for 21 years. This is my 6th year at Elliott Ranch. All of my previous time was at Charles Mack Elementary.
My family is very important to me. My wife Aimee and I have been married for 22 years. We have a 11th grader, my son Kavi, and a 8th grader, my daughter Seraphina. They keep me happy and busy in the town of Fair Oaks.
I love teaching 6th graders. This is a pivotal time in their lives, when they are starting to decide what kind of person they want to be. I enjoy the transition from child to teenager. I believe a little struggle is a great experience for later in life, so I try to challenge all students to become better students and individuals. I look forward to getting your students ready for middle school, high school, and College. I want them to face life as confident, organized, and knowledgeable independent thinkers. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with your child.
